PERUVIAN SUMMER RECIPES

Best Blog Tips

Just wanted to let you know that an article of mine is featured in the latest issue of VegNews magazine (Aug 2014)-- a little bit of history and four colorful and scrumptious vegan-style Peruvian recipes, inspired by foods that I remember from a childhood visit to my father's family in Lima.  I hope you get a chance to see the article and try the recipes.

UPDATE, July 2020: This magazine issue used to be available online, but is no longer. However, I I included photos of each recipe under the photo of each dish in the preview below. You can zoom up the recipe page photos to read the recipes.

Here's a little preview:

I hope you'll try some of these-- enjoy!

We served a Peruvian dinner for our Shabbat guests. We used your recipes. We loved them all, but one stood out: People could not get enough of the Bachelor's salad. Raves, recipe requests all over the place. So we encored the salad for our 4th of July Block party. Raves again. Your recipes never fail us!

Thanks so much for writing, Nonna! And, I agree-- that salad is very "moreish"!

We made the salad last night, using the reduced fat and adding potatoes options.
What an awesome salad!
Not only is it beyond tasty and delish, but it makes enough for days. I am so going to be looking forward to lunch this week.
Thank you for sharing this with us.
